Here at the SH Pratt Bananas, we are passionate about delivering the best quality fruit to our customers. We make sure that every banana is the best it can be, from the minute it’s cut from the stem to the moment it arrives to our customers. At every stage of the Bananas journey to the supermarket, we are always checking the quality of the fruit to ensure it’s the best it can be.
We take pride in training our staff to a high standard to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding of what good looks like and how it can be achieved. It is important for us to have knowledgeable staff to be able to give our customers the most optimum quality fruit.
Over the years we have built strong relationships with our growers in South and Central America. Working with them to ensure that together we deliver outstanding fruit to our customers. Our Procurement & Technical teams take regular trips to visit the farms where our fruit is grown to ensure that they are maintaining the quality standards, good working environment for their staff & as well as the wildlife.
We take pride in only working with farms that are Rainforest Alliance Certified, this ensures that no farm is damaging the environment or the wildlife in and around their crops. It is imperative for us to care for our environment and our workers here in the UK as well as in the Tropics.
